Join Chair Yoga Class virtually every Tuesday! Specially designed for individuals with scleroderma, in this soothing session, you’ll be guided through a series of gentle stretches and movements that can be comfortably performed while seated in a chair. Teressa, your experienced instructor & fellow scleroderma warrior, will help improve your flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance your overall well-being. Discover the benefits of yoga without leaving your chair. It’s the perfect way to stay active and relaxed. | ||
Stretch & Feel Good Yoga | Wednesdays | 6:30 PM PDT |
You may think that because you regularly stretch after a workout you don’t need this class. Or, perhaps you’ve gotten into the practice of a yoga but aren’t in the habit of stretching after exercising. While yoga and stretching separately are great for recovery, these two activities shouldn’t be an either/or option. Join Teressa on Sunday nights! Regardless of your workout routine, your abilities, or your skill level, Stretch & Feel Good Yoga will complement what you’re already doing and help enhance both in your workouts and in your functional, everyday movements.

Gentle Flow Yoga | Thursdays | 6:30 PM PDT |
Join our Easy Flow Yoga Class, perfect for individuals of all levels, including those with scleroderma. Experience a unique blend of gentle movements, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques that promote overall well-being. Led by skilled instructor & scleroderma warrior, Teressa, this class is designed to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and enhance your sense of inner calm. Whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this session is tailored to your needs. |
All classes will include meditation; breathing techniques; performing yoga postures. Each class will be between 45 minutes to an hour.
Led by Teressa Colosimo who is certified with 200 hr. Yoga and Movement Teacher Training. Teressa is also the SABC Community Support Representative for Valemount and Northern Rural Communities.
Upcoming Series
Each series will offer the three classes above. Series run for 5 weeks, followed by a 2 week break.
